With more than 5,000 exhibitors from around the world, the plastics trade fair Chinaplas opens its doors today, 21 April, in Shanghai. Over the three days of the show (until 24 April), organiser Adsale Exhibition Services (Hong Kong; www.adsale.com.hk) has said it expects around 320,000 visitors. On a comparable counting basis, this would be significantly more than the 175,000 attendees who visited the K trade fair in Düsseldorf in 2025.
