The agenda for the “Congress of Applied Chemistry and Industry 4.0”, which will take place at the "ChemPlast Expo" (www.chemplastexpo.com) from 6-8 November 2018 in Madrid / Spain – see Plasteurope.com of 18.07.2018 – has been announced.

The first day of the congress will open with a session on moving towards a model based on bioeconomy and connecting value chains in the circular economy, and continue with topics such as biorefinery, agricultural waste as a resource for the agrochemical industry as well as sustainability and innovation in the food and agrochemical industries. The second day will focus on Industry 4.0 and chemistry in the health and pharmaceutical sectors, and the last day will feature topics such as innovation in non-polymeric materials and technological innovations in the petrochemical and inorganic chemistry industries. The event will close with a discussion on the application of REACH legislation and risk management in the chemical industry.
