CAPSNAP
European bottle extrusion lines acquired from PCP
Capsnap Europe (Kremsmünster / Austria; www.capsnap.at) has bought the European production machinery of Israeli bottle producer PCP, which has closed its manufacturing facilities in Luxembourg and Poland. PCP has decided to concentrate its production of five-gallon bottles at its site in Israel. Capsnap said that the two extrusion lines, producing five-gallon polycarbonate water bottles, were acquired at the beginning of 2007 and will help to satisfy increasing demand, particularly in eastern Europe.

Capsnap now has a network of production units in Austria, France, UK, Hungary and Poland, where one of the extrusion lines will start up. The company also produces five-gallon bottles for water in Greece and Turkey (see Plasteurope.com Web of 17.10.2005).
