Stretch film manufacturer Bomark Pak (Ludbreg, Croatia; www.bomarkpackaging.com) is investing an undisclosed sum in the expansion of its machinery. With the commissioning of a new, five-layer stretch film line from SML Maschinengesellschaft (Lenzing, Austria; www.sml.at), the number of production lines of the film manufacturer has thus increased to a total of 10.

The new MiniCast operates at a production speed of up to 650 m/min, said Bomark Pak. Information about the total production capacity of the Croatian processor was not provided.

Founded in 1992 as a family-owned distribution company, Bomark Pak now supplies stretch film products to more than 2,000 customers throughout Europe.
