German distributor Biesterfeld (Hamburg; www.biesterfeld.com) has announced a new sales agreement with US chemicals company Chase Corporation (Westwood, Massachusetts; www.chasecorp.com), a subsidiary of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts since 2023, covering the latter’s HumiSeal and ABchimie ranges.
In Europe, the Maghreb region, and South Africa, the deal grants the German firm distribution rights with immediate effect. A global scope is envisaged for the future, according to Biesterfeld.

The US group’s HumiSeal range consists of conformal coatings for electronics applications in the automotive, military and aerospace, renewable energy, industrial controls, and consumer goods sectors.
In addition to conformal coatings, Chase’s ABchimie portfolio also covers UV resins and glues, RTV silicone, cleaning products, epoxy and polyurethane resins, and service aids. The product range is targeted at printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) in industrial, medical, military and aerospace, automotive, and household appliance applications.
Biesterfeld said the new distribution deal enables it to provide customers in the electronics manufacturing industry with a comprehensive portfolio in addition to individually tailored product solutions. “The newly added HumiSeal and ABchimie product range completes Biesterfeld’s conformal coating business,” it added.
