The Brazilian distributor Biesterfeld Simko Distribuição (São Paulo / Brazil) – a joint venture between Biesterfeld Plastic (Hamburg / Germany; www.biesterfeld-plastic.com) and Simbras (Florianópolis / Brazil; www.simbras.com) – has appointed Walter Atolino as commercial director. He will be responsible for sales and purchasing activities in Brazil, and takes over the operational responsibilities of Enric Albert, who retired on 31 January 2017 after 20 years with Biesterfeld.
Atolino studied plastic and metal engineering and economics, and he has 30 years of experience in sales, industry and product marketing and development at DuPont, Nalco, Pirelli and Ford.
