Biesterfeld Plastic (Hamburg / Germany; www.biesterfeld-plastic.com) has extended its partnership with BASF Polyurethanes (Lemförde / Germany; www.elastogran.de/en) for the distribution of “Elastollan” TPU to France and the Maghreb region of North Africa (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya and Mauritania). BASF Polyurethanes has discontinued distribution activities with its former distribution partner in the countries.

The pan-European cooperation between the two companies now covers all 26 European countries where Biesterfeld is running local sales organisations, with the exception of the UK and Turkey. In November 2009, BASF’s Elastogran business was rebranded as BASF Polyurethanes – see Plasteurope.com of 07.01.2010.
