PVC compounds: the portfolio of the French company (Photo: Benvic)
Investment company International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG, Luxembourg; www.ic-investors.com) has completed the takeover of French PVC compounder Benvic (Chevigny; www.benvic.com). The transaction received the necessary approvals from the authorities, according to the buyer. However, two plants in Italy will apparently remain with the previous owner, Investindustrial (London; www.investindustrial.com) or its subsidiary PVC Europe (see Plasteurope.com of 30.08.2022).

ICIG intends to manage the acquired compounding activities of Benvic, which comprise more than 630 employees and generates annual sales of almost EUR 500 mn, under the new corporate unit, Compounds. Benvic will continue to operate under the Benvic branding and market approach.
