PU specialist UCSC acquired in USA
Bayer MaterialScience (BMS, Leverkusen / Germany; www.bayerbms.com) has acquired polyurethane specialist UCSC (Phoenix, Arizona / USA; www.buyucsc.com). The company is a leading supplier of rigid polyurethane spray foam roofing and spray foam perimeter wall insulation to the commercial and residential construction industry in the US. The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
BMS will operate UCSC through its wholly owned polyurethane systems house BaySystems North America. It will retain UCSC’s facilities and its 50 employees. The acquisition includes the company’s energy-efficient insulation and roofing systems and other associated products.
