BAVARIA YACHTBAU
Shipyard deliveries making progress / Investor search for restructuring measures in full swing
Since insolvency payments expired at the end of June, Germany's largest boat manufacturer Bavaria Yachtbau (Giebelstadt; www.bavariayachts.com) has been paying its own wages and salaries again – see Plasteurope.com of 14.06.2018. At the beginning of July, restructuring under a self-administration procedure was opened by the district court of Wurzburg / Germany. Management and trustees are aiming to conclude the investor process by the end of this month, and those responsible are holding firm on this date. A company spokesman told Plasteurope.com, there are as yet no details on this. Since it filed for insolvency in April, as of the end of June, the shipyard has built and delivered 123 boats.

Its subsidiary in France, Bavaria Catamarans, is not affected by the problems.
