On 1 October 2012, US compounder and distributor A. Schulman (Akron, Ohio; www.aschulman.com) entered in a partnership with Russian-Swedish company United Trading System (UTS/ETC, St. Petersburg / Russia; www.utsrus.com) under the terms of which the latter will exclusively distribute A. Schulman masterbatches for PE, PP, PS, PA and ABS throughout the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.

The agreement covers the distribution of A. Schulman's "Polybatch" (additive concentrates), "Polyblak" (black concentrates), "Polywhite" (white concentrates), "Polycolor" (colour concentrates) and "Papermatch" (compounds for the manufacture of paperlike films) products. It does not include masterbatches for bi-orientated polypropylene (BOPP) film producers.
