Speciality chemicals distributor Azelis (Antwerp, Belgium; www.azelis.com) announced that it is expanding its distribution agreement with mineral-based speciality supplier Imerys (Paris; www.imerys.com) to cover 11 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

Effective 1 December 2026, Azelis is to distribute Imerys products for plastics, adhesives and sealants, and paints and coatings in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, North Macedonia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The agreement extends an existing partnership between the companies in the UK, Turkey, and parts of the Middle East and Africa, where they have worked together for the past five years.

Azelis said the agreement will add Imerys’s mineral solutions to its Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers (CASE) and Advanced Materials and Additives (AM&A) portfolios in the region, while giving customers access to local technical support, laboratories, logistics, and stocks in Europe and the Middle East.
