PU value chain's Brussels offices moving closer together
The offices of the European associations of diisocyanate and polyol producers Isopa (www.isopa.org), aliphatic isocyanates producers Alipa (www.alipa.org) and the insulation materials industry PU Europe (www.pu-europe.eu) will soon be moving closer to the centre of Brussels and EU institutions. The three associations will also be relocating to the neighbourhood of the PU processors’ associations.
On 1 December 2018, Isopa and Alipa will move out of the joint office shared with the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic; www.cefic.org) in the suburb of Auderghem, 8 km from the city centre. The EU’s offices as well as those of processing associations Europur (www.europur.com) and Euromoulders (www.euro-moulders.org) will be within walking distance of the new shared premises on Rue Belliard 65.
According to Isopa secretary general Jörg Palmersheim, the move will not only bring the associations closer to political decision makers responsible for, among other issues, energy efficiency and chemical management, but also strengthen synergies within the value chain.
