Marcus Gover appointed new CEO of UK's Waste and Resources Action Programme
Following the departure of long-term CEO Liz Goodwin on 30 June this year, Marcus Gover will become the new man at the helm of the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP, Banbury / UK; www.wrap.org.uk). The environmental expert first joined WRAP in 2007, and most recently served as operations director. Gover said that under his leadership, WRAP will continue to focus on creating “a world where resources are used sustainably.”

Founded in 2000, WRAP is a registered UK charity that works with the government and other bodies on waste prevention and resource efficiency. The group regularly publishes studies, including a “Plastics Market Situation Report”, the latest of which was issued in spring this year (see Plasteurope.com of 31.03.2016).
