EPSE invites public to vote for polycarbonate awards competition / Ranked for innovation, sustainability and design
For the seventh year running, European Polycarbonate Sheet Extruders (EPSE, Brussels / Belgium; www.epse.org) is organising its awards competition to recognise projects made out of polycarbonate for their innovation, sustainability and design. This year the public has been invited to vote on its favourite project for the first time – with voting open until 16 October (register at www.epse.org/selection-awards to cast your vote). The awards ceremony itself will be held in Paris / France on 3 November.
Fifteen projects were submitted for this year’s awards, counting among them stadiums, public buildings, PC systems as well as artistic installations. Ahead of the ceremony, the jury – comprised of industry experts – has preselected three projects each for the categories innovation, sustainability and design, and is inviting the public to cast their vote for one of them. They are: the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Genoves Parks Lookout and La Hall De Pantin for the sustainability category; COCO Sweet, Pearl Inside and Public Swimming Pool in the innovation category; and the CAIXA FORUM, the London Olympic Stadium and The roof window in the design category.
