K. K. Seksaria, managing director of Uma Plastics (Kolkata / India; www.umaplastics.com), has been unanimously elected as the new president of the Plastindia Foundation (Mumbai / India; www.plastindiafoundation.org). He succeeds Subhash Kadakia. Seksaria previously served as president of the Indian Plastics Federation (Kolkata / India; http://ipfindia.org) and also worked as treasurer of the Plastindia Foundation from 2009-2012.

The foundation’s members also unanimously elected a new vice president and treasurer. The former position is now filled by Rajiv Raval, president of the Gujarat State Plastics Manufacturers Association (Ahmedabad / India; www.gspma.org) and executive director of Vishakha Irrigation (Ahmedabad; www.vishakhairrigation.com), while the latter post went to Raju Desai, a former president of The All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association (Mumbai / India; www.aipma.net) and senior executive director of marketing and HR at Jyoti Group (www.jyotigroup.org.np).
