Manufacturing QC laboratory opened in Geleen
Synthetic elastomers producer Arlanxeo (Maastricht / The Netherlands; www.arlanxeo.com), has opened a manufacturing quality control laboratory at the Chemelot Industrial Park (Geleen / The Netherlands; www.chemelot.nl). The new 250 m² facility is located beside the company’s “Keltan” EPDM plant and is directly connected to the control room, making it possible to implement changes driven by test results immediately in the plant’s operations.
Arlanxeo will carry out a full range of tests on its “Keltan” EPDM product, including industry standards such as Mooney and gel tests. Until now, these have been carried out by external resources.
