Acquisition of Irish construction supplier Arc Building Products
French speciality chemicals group Arkema (Colombes; www.arkema.com) has announced its intention to acquire Arc Building Products (Ballynattin, Ireland; www.arcbuildingproducts.ie), a manufacturer of adhesives and sealants for the construction industry. The planned acquisition is intended to expand the production network and strengthen Arkema's Bostik subsidiary, according to the French group. The acquisition is expected to be finalised in the first quarter of 2024.

Arkema is planning to invest in the Arc Building Products plant, which is located around 75 km south of Dublin. Most recently, the company generated sales of around EUR 15 mn.
