“ProVital” masterbatches bring performance to medical and pharmaceutical applications

Ampacet (Tarrytown, New York / USA; www.ampacet.com) has launched its new “ProVital” and “ProVital+” range of masterbatches for manufacturers of medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic equipment and pharmaceutical primary packaging. The medical-grade masterbatches are specifically formulated with pre-tested raw materials or selected raw materials to meet high industry requirements and stringent medical regulations.

The ProVital range includes standard and tailored masterbatch solutions designed with high quality raw materials to meet stringent performance and safety requirements. Meanwhile, the new ProVital+ range of masterbatches is pre-tested to European Pharmacopeia section 3.1 and biocompatibility according to ISO 10993 standards, said Ampacet.

The company offers an extensive test programme that helps customers meet all performance criteria and compliance regulations.
