AMCOR
Relocation of European headquarters
Australian packaging giant Amcor (Melbourne, www.amcor.com) has closed its European headquarters at Ratingen, Germany, and redistributed functions between Hanover and Belgium. In future, the company will not have a central headquarters in Europe. Amcor said the redistribution of responsibility will facilitate day-to-day decision-making and communication among the business units. The administrative headquarters for Amcor PET Packaging Europe/Asia (B-1935 Zaventem) is now at Zaventem, Belgium, close to the international airport at Brussels and the company´s R&D centre at Brecht. Amcor White Cap Europe/ Asia (D-30419 Hannover), the European arm of Amcor Closures, is now doing business in the northern German city. Headquarters of Amcor Flexibles Europe (GB-Gloucester GL4 3RT) will remain in the UK.
