Distribution of further styrenics from Ineos Styrolution
German distributor Albis (Hamburg; www.albis.com) has added two new products to its portfolio from Ineos Styrolution, which are to be available across the EMEA region.

Luran S XA SPF60 is a thermoplastic with improved UV resistance, while Luran S MED is a speciality polymer designed for the healthcare sector.

Luran S MED is a medical-grade plastic, which Albis said is well-suited for medical device housings and casings – especially for light colours, which are susceptible to yellowing over long-term exposure to UV light. It is available with 40% renewable content, using the ISCC Plus mass balance certification system.

Luran S XA SPF60, made from acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate, will benefit long-term, outdoor, high-gloss applications, such as exterior trim and dual-design front grilles in the automotive sector, or heat pumps and window spacers in the construction industry.
