With effect from 1 March 2019, German compounder Albis Plastic (Hamburg; www.albis.com) will be the exclusive distributor for Eastman Chemical's (Kingsport, Tennessee / USA; www.eastman.com) entire copolyester product portfolio in France and Poland. Albis Plastic chief sales officer Ian Mills says the deal includes products in "The Glass Polymer" range, which comprises materials for transparent, thick-walled packaging and the "Tritan" series, which is a BPA-free plastic that is clear.

This extends the cooperation between Albis and Eastman in other European countries such as Germany, the Nordic region and the UK. The two companies have had a partnership for more than 20 years.
