The game of musical chairs at German distributor Albis Plastic (Hamburg; www.albis.com) continues. Now that Philip Krahn has become the company’s CEO (see Plasteurope.com of 27.06.2016), his previous role as managing director Far East will be taken over by Hans Rukes. Upon his nomination, Rukes said the current trend in China towards increased use of higher-quality materials “opens up particularly good growth opportunities for us.” Albis has been producing compounds in Changshu / China since 2013 (see Plasteurope.com of 27.08.2013).

Rukes previously served as managing director of the company’s Turkish subsidiary Albis Plastik. That position will now be filled by Ismail Bektas, who previously worked as the sales director of the Istanbul-based office.
