Reichhold (Research Triangle Park, North Carolina / USA; www.reichhold.com) has opened a manufacturing facility in Ranjangaon, Pune / India. The facility has a production capacity of 13,200 t/y and will initially focus on manufacturing unsaturated polyester resins for wind turbine, glass-reinforced pipe, engineering stone, chemical equipment, automobile and general purpose sectors.

Roger Willis, Reichhold’s chief financial officer and managing director of Reichhold India Private Ltd, said: “We are happy to announce the launch of our first manufacturing facility in India, a key market for Reichhold.
