Ticona (Kelsterbach / Germany; www.ticona.com) has added two new grades to its range of high-impact “Hostaform” POM acetal copolymers. The new grades, S 9362 and S 9363, offer higher performance than previous, conventionally impact-modified POM grades and have been developed for automotive, safety, industrial and sports applications.

The company says the new grades allow productivity to be increased through faster cycles and reduced downtime. They are also claimed to offer higher heat deflection temperature, elastic modulus and weld line strength than comparable grades available on the market.
