DuPont (Wilmington, Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com) has expanded its “Vespel” parts and shapes business with polyamide parts that can improve dimensional control, reduce component weight and boost component efficiency in fluid- and motion-control systems.

The company says parts made from Vespel SP-2515 can reduce friction and demonstrate a low coefficient of thermal expansion to better match metal plus good wear properties against aluminium.
