CEO Thorsten Kühn steps down after four months / Austrian packaging producer restructures management

The CEO of Schur Flexibles (Wiener Neudorf / Austria; www.schurflexibles.com) since April 2018, Thorsten Kühn – see Plasteurope.com of 30.04.2018 – is already leaving the packaging supplier. The company says that Kühn is withdrawing to take up "new tasks."
As a result of his departure, Schur is adjusting its management structure. The post of CEO will be cancelled without a replacement and instead a team of three is taking over management. This consists of COO Juan Luís Martínez Arteaga, who until 16 August 2018 was senior VP operations at Constantia Flexibles' pharmaceutical division, CFO Michael Schernthaner and Friedrich Humer, who will be chief sales officer from 1 October.
