Italian PVC additives producer plans expansion in Germany
Additives producer Reagens (San Giorgio di Piano / Italy; www.reagens-group.com) is expanding its site in Loxstedt / Germany. A new warehouse is planned in the immediate vicinity of the Italian company's production site. Local media have reported that Reagens has purchased a 17,000 m² plot of land. In Loxstedt, stabilisers are primarily produced.

Reagens is headquartered near Bologna and produces additives for PVC. Its German branch, Reagens Deutschland, has locations in Loxstedt and Lohne and has belonged to the group since 2004. Most recently, the company expanded to Brazil. In April 2018, Reagens Varteco Brasil opened a warehouse and a sales and technical centre in the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. From there, PVC stabilisers from a plant in San Luis / Argentina as well as other additives from US and European production are distributed.

The Italian group has six production locations. In addition to its two German plants, its Argentinian site and a facility at its headquarters, it has production sites in Altrincham / UK near Manchester and Pasadena, Texas / USA.
