The third “International Composites Congress” (ICC) will take place 18 - 19 September 2017 in Stuttgart / Germany at the International Congress Center Stuttgart (www.messe-stuttgart.de). This year, South Korea is the partner country. The ICC is in conjunction with the “Composites Europe” (www.composites-europe.com) trade fair, which will be held from 19 - 21 September in Stuttgart.

There will be a plenary session about market developments in the morning on the first day and afternoon sessions on applications and process technologies. The second day has sessions on thermoplastics and recycling / sustainability in the morning and afternoon plenary sessions focused on automotive components.

According to ICC organiser Composites Germany (Berlin; www.composites-germany.org), the composites sector is an expanding market producing nearly 3m t of material with a value of approximately EUR 30 bn in Europe.
