German cheese manufacturer Hochland (Heimenkirch; www.hochland-group.com) has picked a new in-mould labelling container developed by packaging specialist Weener Plastic Packaging Group (Weener; www.wppg.de) for its range of cream cheese sold in Russia. To date, the containers had been printed by offset. Hochland hopes the new packaging will appeal to Russian customers.
Both the container and its lid are produced by Weener Plastic Russia (St. Petersburg / Russia; www.wppg.ru), while the IML labels are supplied by Verstraete (Maldegem / Belgium; www.verstraete-iml.com).
Weener owner Lindsay Goldberg (New York / USA; www.lindsaygoldbergllc.com) is currently looking for a buyer for the packaging specialist (see Plasteurope.com of 17.11.2014).
