Would you like a tomato with that car?
Famous for its ketchup throughout the entire world, Heinz has come up with a creative means of recycling its tomato waste. The sauce giant has teamed up with Ford in developing bioplastics made of tomato fibres, to be used in car interiors, including wiring brackets and storage bins.

If the trials prove successful, Ford might soon launch its new “T” (for tomato) series. Needless to say, the car will have to be available only in red...
