ALBIS PLASTIC
Partnering with Styrolution in Spain / Distributor for Terluran standard ABS
German compounder and distributor Albis Plastic (Hamburg; www.albis.com) has expanded its sales partnership with fellow German styrenics specialist Styrolution (Frankfurt; www.styrolution.com). Albis is now responsible for the distribution of Styrolution's "Terluran" brand of standard ABS polymers in Spain. Previously, the Hamburg-based entity had represented Styrolution primarily in German-speaking markets as well as some neighbouring regions.

The latest distribution agreement covers injection moulding grades "Terluran GP 22" and "Terluran GP 35" as well as extrusion type "Terluran HI 10". The company says Terluran GP 22 is known for having very good impact resistance and heat stability and it describes Terluran GP 35 as very "easy flowing" for parts with thin wall gauges and long flow paths. Due to their very even and light inherent colour, Albis Plastic says both grades are highly suitable for self-colourisation.
