Rotterdam “K-Flex” plasticiser line is inaugurated

Right on schedule, Emerald Kalama Chemical – a division of Emerald Performance Materials (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio / USA; www.emeraldmaterials.com) – has officially opened its new “K-Flex” non-phthalate plasticiser and coalescents facility in Rotterdam / The Netherlands – see also Plasteurope.com of 26.01.2012. The group said this was its first major investment in expanding its product range since it first bought the facility from DSM (Schaffhausen / Switzerland; www.dsm.com) in 2010.
Emerald Kalama said its “K-Flex” range received full REACH registration in August. The company also produces the plasticisers in Kalama, Washington.
