Some 20,000 visitors from Russia and neighbouring countries attended this year’s “Interplastica 2012” fair, held from 24-27 January in Moscow, reports organiser Messe Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf / Germany; www.messe-duesseldorf.de). Altogether, 550 exhibitors from 28 different countries showcased their products at the event, held in parallel with the packaging fair “Upakovka / Upak Italia”. Most exhibitors came from either Russia or Germany – the latter still commands 31% of all plastics machinery imports into Russia – closely followed by Italy.

Next year’s Interplastica will be held from 29 January to 1 February 2013 in Moscow and will coincide once again with Upakovka.
