PLASTIC FANTASTIC
Hit, score and recycle...
Nowadays, there are apps for every realm of life – from booking tickets for your favourite rock band to finding your favourite nail colour. So why not encourage plastics recycling through an app?

The initiative "Plastics Make it Possible", sponsored by the American Chemistry Council, has launched "Bin It!", a game that actually challenges people to recycle. The game´s aim is to toss plastic bottles into various recycling bins while facing distracting animals, flashing cameras or strong breezes. The player´s successful tosses are converted into the number of t-shirts, sweaters or sleeping bags that could be made from the recycled plastics. And once the game´s up, players can return to the real world, where the actual act of recycling will hopefully be much easier – what without all those penguins and wind gushes.
