New attendance record at "Chinaplas 2010"

Volcanic ash cloud nothwithstanding, this year’s “Chinaplas 2010” (13-22 April) attracted 2,100 exhibitors and 81,435 visitors, the latter number up 17.5% compared to last year’s event. About 18% of visitors came from overseas, according to organiser Adsale Exhibition Service (Hong Kong / China; www.adsale.com.hk). Impressive though they are, the visitor numbers are still much lower than the 242,000 visitors attending the world’s leading plastics fair, the “K” in Düsseldorf / Germany, which will be held from 27 October to 3 November.
