Trademark agreement with Solvay Advanced Polymers for PPSU and PSU compounding
Speciality compounder RTP (Winona, Minnesota / USA; www.rtpcompany.com) has entered into an agreement with Solvay Advanced Polymers (Alpharetta, Georgia / USA; www.solvayadvancedpolymers.com) through which RTP will compound and market precoloured “Radel R” PPSU and “Udel” PSU resins globally using the Solvay trademarks. Small and medium sized lots of the compounds will be available initially in North America and Europe and in Asia by June 2008. Radel R is used in the healthcare industry, particularly in orthopaedics. A range of 10 standard colours and custom-matched colours will be offered by RTP.
