Reconditioning expansion into Brazil and Benelux
Mauser Group (Bruehl / Germany; www.mausergroup.com) is to extend its IBC reconditioning business, already established in North America, to South America and Europe. In December 2006, the industrial packaging specialist acquired the majority interest in Tankpool do Brasil (www.tankpool.com.br). Tankpool plays a major role in the collection and recycling of used IBCs in Brazil and will now offer its services in combination with Mauser do Brasil. At the beginning of 2007, a joint venture with Janus Vaten (Oosterhout / The Netherlands; www.janusvaten.nl) for IBC reconditioning services in Benelux became operative.
