VELOX
Marketing AB-Polymerchemie's poly-acrylic product range in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
On 1 August Velox Composites – part of German speciality distributor Velox (Hamburg; www.velox.com) – started marketing AB-Polymerchemie's (Aurich / Germany; www.abp-coatings.com) poly-acrylic product range in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The grades are styrene-, MMA- and solvent-free, not water-based and have characteristics that include excellent weather and UV resistance as well as high gloss. The range includes the “AB-PC” 6680 gelcoat, which Velox said is superior to existing styrene ISO/NPG gelcoats and built for applications that demand high performance properties, including for the sanitary and marine markets.
Founded in 1997, AB-Polymerchermie develops coatings based on epoxy, polyurethanes and styrene-/MMA-free acrylic polymer technology.
Velox also started distributing Lantor Composites’ (Veenendaal / The Netherlands; www.lantor.com) nonwoven flexible core solutions in August (see Plasteurope.com of 21.08.2015).
