"Otto Wolff" brand disappears / Distributor finalises integration of builders' merchant business
Effective 1 October, ThyssenKrupp Plastics (Düsseldorf / Germany; www.thyssenkrupp-plastics.de) is to rename its "Otto Wolff Kunststoffe" business unit “ThyssenKrupp Plastics”. The brand, which looks after the building trade, was acquired in 2009 (see Plasteurope.com of 12.10.2009). With this rebranding, the integration now seems to be finally concluded. Apart from the new name, nothing will change for customers in the builders’ merchant sector, explained Jürgen Westphal, CEO of ThyssenKrupp Plastics.
ThyssenKrupp Plastics, which is part of the ThyssenKrupp steel group, markets more than 40,000 plastic products for DIY stores, builders’ merchants, structural engineering applications, industrial piping systems, engineering plastics and visual communication sectors.
