Italian machinery producer delivers pipe extrusion plants to Mexico's Valtic / Focus on PE pipes for construction applications
Mexico’s Valtic (Papalotla de Xicohtencatl; www.valtic.com.mx) recently commissioned an additional HDPE extrusion plant. The machine, manufactured by Tecnomatic (Azzano S.Paolo / Italy; www.tecnomaticsrl.net), reportedly has capacity to produce pipes with a diameter of 1,200 mm, making it the largest plant of its kind in this region.

The new line brings Valtic’s total extrusion plants to six, most of which were supplied by Tecnomatic. Citing the latter’s CEO, José Espinosa Bravo, Italian media say the facility is capable of processing more than 10,000 t, catering mostly to infrastructural applications. Valtic plans to install additional Tecnomatic extruders, from both the “Zeus” and the “Zephyr” ranges.
