Expansion in the US / Plans for additional IBC production site

German industrial packaging specialist Schütz (Selters; www.schuetz.de) is expanding its activities in the US. The company has signed several contracts for the construction of a new plant in Saint Joseph, Missouri, which is scheduled to begin producing intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) in Q1 next year. To date, the German company has been meeting demand in the US southeast from its plants in Carl, Georgia and Houston, Texas – see Plasteurope.com of 21.07.2014.
