18-year-old Kailyn from Sacramento, California / USA is a very special girl indeed: She recently bore it all on the new US TV show "My Strange Addiction", telling the audience of her own pet peeve: eating plastics.

Kailyn has eaten a plastic item every day since she was eight years old and claims to have eaten over 60,000 plastic items in the past 11 years. Her diet has included over 12 TV remotes, 5,000 beads, 100 forks, 10 water bottles, two pacifiers, three CD cases and about 25 plastics lids for coffee-to-go. When asked why she loves eating plastics, Kailyn explains: "It´s the way it crunches and feels and it has a rough but at the same time smooth texture to it."

But her favourite snack are cocktail swords for drinks; she has already consumed over 1,000 of them. Kailyn works in a restaurant where she has an inexhaustible supply her favourite snack. "On a normal, non-stressful day, I will eat my way through 15 swords before leaving work", the plastics-lover admits. It remains to be seen when her body will cross swords with her eating habits...
