John Gallagher III named new COO at Milacron
John Gallagher III has been serving as COO Melt Delivery & Control Systems, Fluid Technologies and Finance and Shared Services at machinery maker Milacron (Cincinnati, Ohio / USA; www.milacron.com) since 1 May. In this capacity, he is responsible for Mold-Masters, DME, Cimcool and Milacron’s internal finance, human resources, information systems and legal services.
Gallagher, who has been chairman of the audit committee of Milacron’s board of directors since 2012, previously served as executive vice president and CFO at Celanese. Before that, he held the position of CEO at Great Lakes Chemical, and also served as CFO at UOP.
