Keith Piggott has been appointed the new general manager of the European Sheet and Composites business at acrylics producer Lucite International (Southampton / UK; www.lucite.com). His new responsibilities include overseeing manufacturing at the UK site in Darwen as well as in Clairvaux / France and steering the future of the company’s “Perspex” and “Lucite” acrylic sheet brands. Piggott has been the managing director of Perspex Distribution (PDL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Lucite, and the company says he will continue in this position.

Piggott has served as president of the European Plastics Distributors Association (EPDA, Milton Keynes / UK; www.epda.com) and as a director of the US-based International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD, Overland Park / Kansas; www.iapd.org).
