In early October, Eduardo Padilla was appointed the new director of Corporate Distribution for North America at BASF Corporation (Florham Park, New Jersey / USA; www.basf.us). He will oversee the coordination, evaluation and implementation of regional distributor channels and strengthen relationships with both national and regional partners. Padilla has also been tasked with developing activities and programmes to drive sales growth through the distribution channel.

Padilla previously worked in BASF’s Dispersions & Pigments business. He first came to the US subsidiary of the German chemical giant when BASF (Leverkusen; www.basf.com) acquired Swiss specialties producer Ciba in 2009 – see Plasteurope.com of 20.04.2009.
