Oleg Obertinyuk named new CEO of Nordenia Slavnika

On 1 March 2012 Oleg Obertinyuk became the new CEO of Zao Nordenia Slavnika (Pereslavl / Russia), the Russian subsidiary of international film and packaging manufacturer Nordenia (Greven / Germany; www.nordenia.com). He succeeds Vasily Mizintsev. Obertinyuk previously served as CEO of Amcor Flexibles Novgorod.
According to company reports, Nordenia Slavnika is one of Russia's leading packaging film producers, with a workforce of about 200. The subsidiary produces multilayer printed films for the food and animal feed industry, as well as the laundry, cleaning and hygiene sectors at its plant in Pereslavl, near Moscow.
Upon his appointment, Obertinyuk said he was convinced that Nordenia could achieve significant growth in Russia, which is considered to be one of world's leading global growth markets for flexible packaging.
