Nordmann, Rassmann distributes silicone elastomers across Europe
The German office of Momentive Performance Materials (Waterford, New York / USA) – part of Momentive Specialty Chemicals (Columbus, Ohio / USA; www.momentive.com) – has appointed existing partner Nordmann, Rassmann (NRC, Hamburg / Germany; www.nrc.de) as distributor of its silicone elastomers portfolio in Europe. To date the cooperation between the two companies had been limited to eastern Europe.
On 1 June 2014, the Hamburg-based group began marketing Momentive’s “Silopren”, “Silplus”, “Addisil”, “LIM” and “Tufel” range of liquid silicone rubber and high consistency silicone rubber.
