European legislation a key focus at second EuPC sector group meeting
Some 40 participants from the medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging supply chain attended the second workshop of European Plastics Converters (EuPC, Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticsconverters.eu) sector group MedPharmPlast Europe (www.medpharmplasteurope.org), held in Brussels on 3 December.
The main focus of the one-day event was on European legislation and its impact on the sector. Topics covered included regulatory challenges and future trends, DEHP, BPA as well as unique device identification (UDI) and its implications for the supply chain.
MedPharmPlast Europe plans to hold its next workshop in June 2015.
