Daniel Coombs was appointed the new executive vice president of the Intermediates and Derivatives business at LyondellBasell (LBI, Rotterdam / The Netherlands; www.lyondellbasell.com) in late May. He is also responsible for Supply Chain, Procurement and Technology and will furthermore be nominated to join the company’s management board.
Coombs, who replaced Pat Quarles, previously worked as senior vice president of Manufacturing at Chevron Phillips Chemical.
